Howells' Faltin Meat Market unveils 24/7 meat vending machine
HOWELLS, Neb. -- Faltin Meat Market, a staple in Howells for over a century, has unveiled Northeast Nebraska's first meat vending machine. The grand opening showcased the innovative addition, designed to serve customers outside of regular store hours.
"There are two different vending machines available to the public," said Faltin Meat Market Owner Ryan Baumert. "We have six different bratwursts, steaks, hamburgers, ground pork, and breakfast sausage in our frozen case. We also have jerky, snack sticks, hotdogs, and polish sausages in our retail cases as another option."
Purchasing meat from the vending machines is straightforward. "It's a pretty simple process and just like shopping online," said Faltin Meat Market Owner Mary Baumert. "You find a product that you want, you punch in the number, and you can actually make a shopping cart. You can put those items in a cart together and ask to check out. You will insert your form of payment, which is either by cash, credit, or debit, and essentially it'll vend products one after the other."
Faltin Meat Market's vending machines are available 24/7, 365 days a year, ensuring fresh meat products are always accessible.
