All star volleyball game shines at Veteran's Memorial Park

"Volleyball Day in Norfolk" brought out an exciting crowd at Veteran’s Memorial Park in Norfolk. With a hard fought battle between the Dark and Light Team, Dark team won 3-2 in five sets.

NORFOLK \, Neb. -- Northeast Nebraska's volleyball stars brought their A-game to Veteran’s Memorial Park in Norfolk, wowing fans with their skills. 

This year's game took a detour from the usual air-conditioned gym, with a special outdoor court trucked in from Rapid City and set up on a turf baseball field. 

The All-Star game was a smash hit, drawing a crowd of over 200 excited spectators.

The game was played between Dark and Light Team. After a tough battle between the two, Dark team won 3-2 in five sets.

The most valuable players (MVP's) of the game were Skyler Scholting from Pierce and Sophie Humphrey from Battle Creek.
