NORFOLK, Neb.— With Halloween right around the corner, Northeast Community College is getting into the spirit.

The 22nd Annual Spooktacular Children’s Carnival took place on Wednesday, raising money for clubs on campus.

Clubs come up with a booth that had carnival games and candy.

“Clubs and organizations are already so busy with the things they do, starting at 8 A.M. Tuesday clubs start coming out and setting up. So they spend up to 12 hours getting these booth to look the way they do,”  College Engagement Coordinator Allison Lambert said.

Tickets were available for purchase to play the games and buy food, that money goes right back to the clubs.

Most booths had classic carnival games but some had robots giving out candy to kids.
