NORFOLK, Neb.— Two people are in the hospital after a crash at a busy intersection in Norfolk Thursday afternoon.

A mini-van and a SUV collided in the intersection of 13th Street and Benjamin Ave shortly before 4:00 P.M.

The SUV then struck the empty parked car of a Norfolk Physical Therapy employee in the parking lot.

Both drivers were transported to the hospital for treatment of non-serious injuries, officers say.

The direction of the vehicles involved and the cause of the crash is still being investigated, according to police.

Southbound traffic started moving around 30 minutes after the crash.
