General Manager & US92 Morning Show Co-Host

I am the general manager of the Flood Communications Norfolk division.  I am also co-host of the US92 morning show with Austen T. Hagood, which often includes many morning laughs and a cooking segment in the studio kitchen.

I grew up in southeast Iowa where I learned early in life the value of community involvement from my parents who owned a real estate and auction company.  While in high school, I attended the World Wide College of Auctioneering where I learned to talk fast…something I haven’t stopped doing since. I also started in radio at the age of 15 and worked on-air and in the news department throughout my high school years.

While attending Goshen College, I maintained a full-time schedule at a local country and Christian radio station as both an on-air personality and later as a news reporter.  In college I spent a semester abroad teaching English in the Sichuan Provence in China.  After college, I chose to expand my knowledge of the radio business by working for B100 in South Bend, Indiana in the sales department.  In 1999, I returned to China for a 1-month mission trip to teach English.  That winter, I began talking to Mike Flood about moving to Northeast Nebraska to help start US92.  Mike convinced me Nebraska was paradise and I made the move in May of 2000.  In 2005, I met my future husband on a blind date and married Jeremy in March of ‘07.  In my free time, I love cooking, traveling and spending time with Jeremy and our daughter Josie.
