BLOOMFIELD - The hometown Queen Bees remained undefeated and punched their ticket to the district final with a 59-36 drubbing of Plainview Thursday night.

Three Bloomfield players finished in double figures -- Kennedy Mlady (19), Madyson Mlady (11) and Haley Eisenhauer (11) helped stake the Bees to a 19-point halftime lead, as they pulled away in the second half.

Pressley Alexander paced the Pirates with 16, and Avery Hardisty & Kara Lingenfelter each chipped in 5. Plainview kept it close in the first quarter, but Bloomfield's relentless pressure proved too much to overcome down the stretch.

The Bees improve to 25-0 and await their district final assignment, while the Pirates end the season at 8-16.
