LOUISVILLE, NE - The Louisville Lions roared past the Knights of Elmwood-Murdock in boys basketball Friday night, 61-42, as heard on B103.

The Lions held a four-point lead after the first quarter, but the Knights stormed back to go ahead 29-28 at the break. The third quarter was the difference-maker as Louisville dominated the frame, 15-3, before a solid fourth quarter solidified the win. Louisville ends the regular season with a record of 10-12, while Elmwood-Murdock moves into the postseason at 11-11.

Louisville's Isaac Clements hit for 24 points to lead everyone, while teammate Jose Ostblom dropped in 15. For Elmwood-Murdock, Carson Towle finished with 13, thanks in large part to a 9/12 night at the free throw line. Brody Marsh also got to double-digits with eleven.

Elmwood-Murdock starts its postseason run on Monday in the Subdistrict C2-3 bracket as the three-seed. They'll take on Centennial at top-seed Freeman's place.

Louisville draws the four-seed in the Subdistrict C1-1 tourney, going up against Palmyra on Monday at Ashland-Greenwood Middle School.
