A northeast Nebraska non-profit is releasing a new book to help spread its message. The Briggs and Barrett Project's new children's story "When Baby Sleeps" is on shelves at Hyvee East in Norfolk.

All proceeds from the book will go toward The Briggs and Barrett Project and the Briggs West Memorial.

The Briggs and Barrett Project is dedicated to spreading awareness of Sudden Infant Death Syndrome, also known as SIDS. Organization co-founders Melissa West and Allison Ueckers' sons Briggs West and Barrett Uecker passed from SIDS. Now, their memories live on through the project.

News Channel Nebraska's Elic Chisam has the story.
