Trumbull under boil water advisory
The fire department said yesterday that they were getting calls asking about low water pressure.
TRUMBULL, Neb. -- The village of Trumbull is under a boil water notice.
The fire department said yesterday that they were getting calls asking about low water pressure. Fire officials say when they checked the water tower, the pounds per square inch were well below the threshold to issue a boil advisory.
In an attempt to protect the drinking water, residents of the village are asked to boil it for at least a minute before consuming it.
To ensure everyone does have access to clean water, the Trumbull Volunteer Fire Department handed out free cases at the station on Tuesday.
The advisory is only expected to last until the end of the week, but residents are encouraged to keep an eye on local village announcements.
