OMAHA, Neb. -- An Omaha woman was sentenced for threatening to kill veterans affairs employees.

53-year-old Tina Hardin of Omaha was sentenced Monday to time served for threatening a federal official.

Officials say Hardin has already served 14 months in prison.

She will now serve a three-year term of supervised release with conditions regarding mental health treatment.

Authorities say the incident happened last year. Hardin made homicidal and suicidal statements to the VA medical staff.
