Norfolk man arrested for allegedly threatening roommate with knife

A Norfolk man was arrested after reportedly wielding a knife during a physical altercation on Saturday.

NORFOLK, Neb. – A Norfolk man was arrested after reportedly wielding a knife during a physical altercation on Saturday.

Norfolk Police officers were called to an apartment in the 1200 block of Verges Avenue for a disturbance just after 9:00 p.m. on Saturday.

It was reported that two males were in an argument and one was armed with a knife. The man who was reportedly armed with a knife had left the area by the time officers arrived.

The other man stated that he and his roommate, Ethan P. Kitto, 43, of Norfolk, had been in an argument. During this argument, Kitto was allegedly holding a knife and was threatening to kill him. A witness at the apartment also backed the man’s account.

Kitto was located and interviewed about the incident. At the conclusion of the investigation, Kitto was arrested for terroristic threats. He was housed in the Norfolk City Jail and later transferred to the Madison County Jail.
