Mayor proclaims National School Choice Week in Norfolk

NORFOLK, Neb. -- Norfolk mayor Josh Moenning has proclaimed next week as "National School Choice Week."

On Wednesday, the mayor was joined by Bill LaFleur and Amy Wattier from Norfolk Catholic, Drew Urban from Christ Lutheran, and Dan Sievert from Lutheran High Northeast.

According to its original organizers, National School Choice Week was founded in 2011 to promote the concept of choice, district schools, district magnet schools, charter schools, private schools and home schooling.
