NPD: Woman found in bank night deposit area, arrested on drug charges

A 23-year-old Norfolk woman is facing drug charges after reportedly being found inside an bank's night deposit room Sunday evening.

NORFOLK, Neb. -- A 23-year-old northeast Nebraska woman is facing drug charges after reportedly being found inside an bank's night deposit room Sunday evening.

At 5:45 p.m., Norfolk Police were called to the business on Norfolk Avenue to check the welfare of a woman reportedly sitting inside the ATM area.

Officers reported having contact with 23-year-old Rachael L. Lambley, of Norfolk. An officer reported being able to smell marijuana.

Lambley was questioned about her drug usage and also searched. 

During the search, officers reportedly recovered a partial burnt marijuana joint and two small baggies of methamphetamine.

Lambley was arrested for possession of a controlled substance. She was housed in the Norfolk City Jail and later transferred to the Madison County Jail.
