Stanton man arrested on drug charges after probation search

A 41-year-old Stanton man was taken into custody this week following a probation search by the Stanton County Sheriff's Office.

STANTON, Neb. -- A 41-year-old Stanton man was taken into custody this week following a probation search by the Stanton County Sheriff's Office.

Stanton County Sheriff Mike Unger says Shaun Jones was staying at a residence on 10th Street. When authorities performed a search, Unger says, Jones was found to be in possession of methamphetamine, marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

Jones was booked at the sheriff's office and has an initial court appearance next month.
