LINCOLN, Neb. — A notable change is coming to high school basketball in Nebraska, but only for one class of play.

The Nebraska High School Activities Association voted Wednesday morning to allow a pilot program, enabling a shot clock in Class A basketball starting next season.

A 35-second shot clock will be in use for the 2022-23 season at Class A high schools.
