NORFOLK, Neb. -- A wanted man is behind bars in northeast Nebraska.

On Wednesday evening, the Stanton County Sheriff's office, with assistance from the Norfolk Police Division, took Jordan Schaller into custody after he was located at a Norfolk residence.

Schaller failed to appear last week in Stanton County District Court and a felony warrant was issued for his arrest. He was located at the residence on Wood Street and reportedly refused to exit.

According to Stanton County Sheriff Mike Unger, entry was made with a master key, and Schaller was taken into custody on the failure-to-appear warrant, in addition to a Madison County warrant for felony child abuse.

Schaller was jailed, and his next court appearance is scheduled for next month.
