Missing inmate returns to custody

An inmate who was reported missing is back in custody.

OMAHA, Neb. -- An inmate who was reported missing is back in custody. 

Jonathan Walker-Hernandez left his job in the community Tuesday afternoon and did not return to the Community Corrections Center in Omaha as scheduled.

He was arrested by Omaha Police Tuesday evening near 11th and Avenue H in Omaha.

Walker-Hernandez began his sentence June 14th, when he was sentenced to two to three years on a charge out of Douglas County for possession of a deadly weapon by a prohibited person.
