OMAHA, Neb. – A pedestrian was killed after being struck by two separate vehicles Friday night in Omaha.

At 11:20 p.m., Omaha Police officers were called to the scene at 153rd and Maple.

Investigators determined that 41-year-old Curtis Gormley, of Omaha, was crossing W. Maple near 153rd Street when he was struck by a westbound SUV. Officers say Gormley was then immediately struck by another westbound SUV.

OPD said both drivers remained on scene and were cooperative. At this time, there have been no charges filed or citations issued related to the death, according to police records.

While officers were still processing the scene, a police cruiser blocking eastbound traffic was struck by a DUI driver, OPD said Saturday morning. The cruiser suffered minor damage.
