OMAHA, Neb. -- Authorities in the metro area are investigating multiple shootings that left several injured Sunday morning. 

Omaha Police are investigating a shooting that injured one person early Sunday morning near 41st and Binney Street. 

OPD officials said that officers were at a local hospital when the 27-year-old shooting victim came into the hospital. 

According to OPD, the victim said that he was in the area of 41st and Binney when he had heard gunfire and then realized that he had been injured. 

Authorities are also investigating a shooting that injured multiple people early Sunday near 45th and Nicholas Street. 

Officials said that officers responded to the area just before 3:00 a.m. to investigate the shots fired. 

OPD said that a short time later, three victims come into a local hospital. A 38-year-old man is in critical but stable condition, and a 37-year-old woman and 36-year-old man both sustained non-life-threatening injuries. 

Authorities said that two houses and a vehicle were also damaged by the gunfire. 

Both are in ongoing investigations.
