LINCOLN, Neb. -- The race to replace Tim Gragert in the Nebraska Legislature has two finalists.

Barry DeKay, who was endorsed by Gragert, was the leading vote-getter, followed by Keith Kube. DeKay and Kube will move onto the general election, while Mark Patefield and Robert E. Johnston fall short of the November ballot.

Gragert announced that he would not be pursuing re-election earlier this year.
