Pierce emergency services took a hit Wednesday night due to 911 being knocked offline.

PIERCE, Neb. -- Pierce emergency services took a hit Wednesday night due to 911 being knocked offline.

According to Pierce Fire and Rescue, those requiring emergency services should call 402-329-6346.

Calls from cell phones or 329 landlines were not working as of 6:15 p.m. CT.

Officials in Pierce were still continuing to work on the outage at last contact.
