Beemer man jailed for alleged knife threats near Woodland Park

A northeast Nebraska man was arrested Monday afternoon after an alleged disturbance near Woodland Park.

NORFOLK, Neb. -- A northeast Nebraska man was arrested Monday afternoon after an alleged disturbance near Woodland Park.

At approximately 12:30 p.m., the Stanton County Sheriff’s office responded to a disturbance call at a residence south of Woodland Park.

The caller reported that a man had showed up at the residence threatening others with a knife. The man then reportedly fled the area on foot and was later taken into custody by the Sheriff’s office along Highway 35.

Shon Little, 45, of Beemer was then jailed on charges of terroristic threats, attempted possession of a controlled substance, disturbing the peace, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Little also had an outstanding arrest warrant from Arkansas.
