Norfolk City Auction set for Thursday

NORFOLK, Neb. -- The city of Norfolk will be selling numerous items at the Annual City Surplus and Police Division Auction.
The Auction will be held at 5:00 p.m. on June 16th across from the Ta-Ha-Zouka softball complex.
Items being auctioned include: $1 and $5 Silver certificates, men’s wedding band, Gold Mercedes ring, Louis Vuitton black purse, fur coat, Nike tennis shoes/flip flops, Street Fire HEI Distributor, E3 spark plugs, electrical gauge kit, jumper cables, a Bluetooth speaker, power tools, over 25 bikes of various sizes, truck 5th wheel dolly, air compressor, antique Oak furniture, storage tanks and office equipment.
They can be seen two hours before the auction begins.
Norfolk auctioneer, Gary Bretschneider, will be auctioning off the items.
If anyone plans on purchasing bigger items, it is asked that you bring an adequate vehicle to haul them. Once the auction is over, purchasers will have one hour to load their items.
Auction items must be paid for by cash or check the day of the sale.
Items on the Auction from City divisions will go towards the City's general budget and any money from items sold by the Police Division, by Nebraska State Statute, will go to the Norfolk Public Schools system.
