MONOWI, Neb. -- The mayor of a northeast Nebraska village turned 90 on Friday.

Monowi's Mayor and Village Marshall, Elsie Eiler celebrated her 90th birthday.

Boyd County's village of Monowi has a technical population of 0 as of 2021.

Knox County Sheriff's Office posted on Friday telling Eiler "happy birthday."
