Heavy winds cause damage in O'Neill

Monday was another night of damaging storms in Nebraska.

O'NEILL, Neb. -- Monday was another night of damaging storms in Nebraska.

This time, it was north-central Nebraska bearing the brunt of the damage.

Officials in Holt County reported an 85 mph wind gust northwest of O'Neill on Monday. 

There were reports of multiple trees and limbs blown down. 

There were multiple reports of power outages in O'Neill, but NPPD was reporting that power had been restored to most residents by Tuesday morning.

The same storm system dropped baseball-sized hail in southwest Nebraska earlier Monday.
