WISNER, Neb. -- Earlier this week, News Channel Nebraska ran a story about a boil notice in the city of Wisner. The information in that story is incorrect.

Wisner is under a high nitrate notice, meaning it is unsafe for infants, pregnant women or nursing mothers. The city advises against boiling the water to keep the nitrates from becoming more concentrated.

The city does have bottled water available for those unable to drink the tap water.
