NORFOLK, Neb. -- The Norfolk Police Division responded to multiple disturbance calls at the same residence on Wednesday.

NPD said they were called four separate times to an apartment in the 400 block of Omaha Ave.

The disturbances were between a 36-year-old Norfolk man and his female roommate.

After a call earlier in the day, NPD said the man was cited for criminal mischief for cutting the refrigerator power cord.

Between two calls, authorities said the man had broken several more items that belonged to the landlord.

When officers returned, they said they saw the refrigerator had been knocked over inside the kitchen and the glass door to the oven was broken.

It was reported the man had been consuming alcohol throughout the day. Officers said as the day worn on, the man became more intoxicated.

NPD said they arrested the man for disturbing the peace and criminal mischief.

He was housed in the Norfolk City Jail and later transferred to the Madison County Jail.
