Sugar Plum Oak to evolve into TC Amish Home
In November, the new TC Amish Home showroom will be opening and located in the Southwest Square in Norfolk, next to Courtesy Ford.
By News Channel NebraskaNORFOLK, Neb. -- In May of 2019, Ross Steele sold Sugar Plum Oak to Tim and Connie Deets, owners of TC Home Furnishings of West Point and Humphrey.
In a press release it was said that from the beginning the vision was to create a showplace in Northeast Nebraska for quality Amish Furniture.
In November, the new TC Amish Home showroom will be opening and located in the Southwest Square in Norfolk, next to Courtesy Ford.
“We have been patient to find the right location and put a lot of thought into incorporating Amish into the TC Home Brand," Tim Deets said. "Amish Furniture will continue to be the cornerstone of our business. We want to provide a shopping experience for the Amish Furniture Consumer that gives them the ability to customize their dining room, bedroom, office, and outdoor poly furniture."
The Deets said square footage in the new location will be maximized. Featuring various floor models continuing to provide Northeast Nebraska the Largest Amish Furniture Showroom, with a sales team that has over 50 years in the Amish Furniture industry.
"The showroom will be filled with Amish Handcrafted Furniture to see, touch and sit… plus full functioning kiosks to design, customize and then see what the actual piece will look like when finished,” Tim said.
Tim and Connie said they will be opening a 4000 square foot Bassett Home Center. The Bassett Line will provide the softer side of furniture, featuring sofas, love seats, sectionals, accent pieces and accessories.
“We put a lot of time and effort into finding the perfect fit to complement the Amish Furniture and felt Bassett was the right match,” Connie Deets said. “We are so excited to offer hundreds of fabrics to our customers, and let them design and choose the shape, arm style, leg option and fabric for their sofa, the accent pillows and beyond.”
Tim said their main goal at both showrooms is to offer quality furniture "that sits good, feels good and looks good."
"We are confident that with Amish and Bassett Furniture we can provide that to every customer that comes to visit our new location," Tim said.
