NORFOLK, Neb.-- A northeast Nebraska radio station hosted a fundraising golf tournament with all donations going to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital on Friday afternoon.

The event was held at the Norfolk Country Club with teams hitting the links for a great cause.

One of the organizers and a US92 radio host, Caelan Debban, said the event raises awareness for areas not only in northeast Nebraska but the country as well.

"I just think something like this is a good way to get people together," Debban said. "Everybody knows somebody with cancer, whether it's a child or maybe somebody that's a little bit older, but northeast Nebraska has been affected with children with cancer just like every other place in the country."

Debban added the event didn't have a set goal for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, but any money being donated was appreciated for the cause.
