MADISON, Neb. -- Though the Christmas season is over, one northeast Nebraska town is still celebrating.

The city of Madison is holding its annual Madtown Holidazzle Christmas Light Display until Jan. 7.

This is the third year that the display is being put on.

Thirty different sponsors from Madison and Norfolk come together to put on the display at Barnes Park and Arboretum.

Janelle Torres, the organizer of the display, said everyone should visit the display even though the holidays have passed.

"I don't think the Christmas magic ever goes away," she said. "There's something about seeing the whole park lit up and being able to spend that time with your family, taking pictures, and really taking in the Christmas season. If I had it my way, I'd leave that park lit every night."

The display turns on every night once it gets dark out.

Parks said the city is looking for more sponsors and decorations for next year's display. For those interested they can contact the city of Madison.
