Norfolk man accused of pulling hair, biting man in alleged assault

A northeast Nebraska man is in custody after being accused of biting and pulling the hair of another man in an argument.<br/><br/>

NORFOLK, Neb. -- A northeast Nebraska man is in custody after being accused of biting and pulling the hair of another man in an argument.

On Wednesday morning at 10:45 a.m., Norfolk Police responded to a reported disturbance in the 100 block of E. Phillip Avenue.

Officers spoke with a man who said that he had been assaulted by 39-year-old Christian G. Santana of Norfolk.

The man stated that he and Santana had been in an argument inside their apartment and he decided to leave as a result.

According to the man, Santana followed him outside where Santana pulled the man's hair and bit him on the wrist while taking his cell phone.

Norfolk Police Capt. Michael Bauer said the alleged victim had a visible bite mark on his wrist.

Officers made contact with Santana and placed him under arrest for third-degree domestic assault. He was housed in the Norfolk City Jail and later transferred to the Madison County Jail.
