Norfolk woman arrested while reportedly intoxicated at elementary school
NORFOLK, Neb. -- A Norfolk woman was arrested after she was reportedly intoxicated outside of an elementary school in northeast Nebraska.
The Stanton County Sheriff's Office said officers were dispatched to the Woodland Park Elementary School around 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
Officers said an off-duty Norfolk police officer reported that there was a possible drunk driver in the student pickup line.
According to authorities, they talked to 43-year-old Tristan Clyde, of Norfolk. Officers reported that Clyde was under the influence of alcohol and was arrested for DWI. Clyde's children were reportedly picked up from the school by a family member.
Officials said Clyde was booked at SCSO and charged for DWI and open container violation. Her blood alcohol content level was reportedly above .150 and Clyde was released on bond. She has a court date in February.
