O'NEILL, Neb. -- The City of O'Neill is warning businesses to take extra care when looking at bigger bills, like the $100 bill.

A local business had received the bill imaged above as a form of payment. Upon closer look, it can be seen that the bill is fake reading, "Prop copy."

Amongst the images, there is a comparison between the prop bill and the government bill.

Business owners are reminded to tell all of their employees to double check large bills that come in. Employees can do this by using a counterfeit marker that shows black ink when a bill is fake.

The City said that if you don't have a marker, get one.
