More than 20 minors cited following party in Stanton County
Authorities in northeast Nebraska reported citing more than 20 minors following an party Wednesday night.
WOODLAND PARK, Neb. -- Authorities in northeast Nebraska reported citing more than 20 minors following an party Wednesday night.
The Stanton County Sheriff's Office said they responded to a noise complaint just before midnight.
Sheriff Mike Unger said they when authorities arrived they determined an underage alcohol party was taking place.
According to SCSO, the occupants of the house refused to answer the door, refusing to cooperate.
The Sheriff's Office said that at that time, a search warrant was applied for and received by the Sheriff's Office.
Unger said the search warrant was served, and they then entered the home.
As a result of the warrant, Unger reported 24 minors were given citations for minor in possession/consumption of alcohol, and the three residents of the house were cited for aiding and abetting MIP.
SCSO said that one minor was taken to the hospital by ambulance for severe intoxication after reportedly found face down and passed out in a bedroom.
Unger said that a large cache of liquor and liquor products were found inside the house.
The Nebraska State Patrol assisted with the incident.
