Madison man arrested for fixed blade knife following traffic stop
A 44-year-old Madison man was arrested following a traffic stop.
NORFOLK, Neb. -- A 44-year-old Madison man was arrested following a traffic stop.
The Norfolk Police Division said that they pulled over Isidro Ferrer-Florez around 7:10 p.m. Thursday.
NPD said they did a check of his license and it showed that it was currently under revocation.
Ferrer-Florez was arrested for driving during revocation, according to police.
It was reported by NPD that a fixed blade knife was found concealed between the passenger side seat and center console.
NPD said that due to a previous felony convictions, he is prohibited from possessing weapons like the one that was found.
Ferrer-Florez was arrested for possession of a deadly weapon by a prohibited person.
He was housed in the Norfolk City Jail and later transferred to the Madison County Jail.
