Work continues on 1st Street in Norfolk

NORFOLK, Neb. -- Road work continues on North First Street in Norfolk, now up to Norfolk Ave. 

The City of Norfolk said that the current closure of N First St. will extend south to Norfolk Ave starting on March 13. 

According to the City, due to the extended closure, Braasch Ave. will not be accessible from First St. 

The intersection of Norfolk Ave. will still remain open. 

The City said that N First St. is expected to re-open to traffic this summer. 

Officials ask that people continue to use caution in the area and slow down.
