Thunderstorms cover most of Nebraska over the weekend

NEBRASKA -- From North Platte to Norfolk and back down to Omaha, much of Nebraska experienced more weekend thunderstorms overnight.

North central Nebraska experienced the heaviest precipitation, with over an inch in some locations.

Lightning, heavy winds, and same hail accompanied the rains in some areas.

The conditions are expected to remain stormy again into the beginning of the work week, with the eastern third of Nebraska expected to get hit the hardest.
