NORFOLK, Neb. – Deets Furniture announced a milestone for its family-owned business. 

Deets Furniture was founded in 1961 in Madison, NE by Martin & Norma Deets,  Kyle Deets and his wife Maegan have purchased the business. Ron and Sharon, Kyle's parents, have been involved with the company for the last 41 years. 

Working in the family business isn’t anything new for Kyle,  his first job at the store was cutting the grass, then working in the warehouse and in sales during high school and college. After 9 years of working outside the family business, Kyle rejoined the company in 2015 and has been in key leadership roles since.

In 1997 Deets constructed a store and moved operations to its current location on S. Hwy 81 in Norfolk.

Kyle Deets said, “We understand that creating a beautiful home can be challenging. We are here to help make this process fun and enjoyable. We will remain committed to delivering quality, service, and value.”

To celebrate the third generation taking over,  Deets Furniture is holding a special Retirement Sale with discounts storewide and giveaways all summer.
