Omaha man arrested in connection to September shooting

OMAHA, Neb. -- Omaha Police said a 19-year-old has been arrested for a homicide that happened in September. 

Officials said, Marsavion Watson of Omaha, has been booked for first-degree murder and use of a weapon- gun to commit a felony. 

Officials said in September they were called to the 4300 block of N 52nd St. in for a shooting.

OPD said upon arrival officers located a male, 20-year-old, Derrick Hayes Jr.,  suffering from a gunshot wound. Hayes Jr was transported to UNMC where he was pronounced deceased.
