Chappelle coming to Omaha as part of fall tour
A popular – and sometimes controversial – comedian is coming to Nebraska this fall.
OMAHA, Neb. – A popular – and sometimes controversial – comedian is coming to Nebraska this fall.
Standup comedian Dave Chappelle, who has gained fame from his eponymous sketch comedy show and numerous films, will be in Omaha on Sept. 18 at CHI Health Center.
Chappelle will be performing 12 total dates in 11 cities. He will also be in Kansas City and St. Paul, Minn.
He won the Mark Twain Price for American Humor in 2019. Chappelle has also claimed five Emmys.
He most recently released a Netflix special in 2021, which prompted walkouts from Netflix employees after he made jokes about transgender people.
More recently, he was attacked on stage during a 2022 Netflix festival in Los Angeles.
