PIERCE, Neb. -- Class B has a new Senior Legion state baseball champion: Plattsmouth.

In a winner-take-all championship game, Plattsmouth knocked off Wahoo 4-2 in Pierce to bring home the state title.

Wahoo had lost in the second round of the tournament to Plattsmouth, but worked it way back to the championship round through the losers bracket.

Plattsmouth took an early 2-0 lead before Wahoo tied it up in the third. Plattsmouth got two runs in the decisive seventh inning to earn the victory.

It's the first Senior Legion state title for Plattsmouth in 39 years. It's just the second state crown in team history.
