LINDSAY, Neb. -- A business in Lindsay recently acquired FieldWise, an agricultural technology business.
Lindsay Corporation is a manufacturer and distributor of irrigation and infrastructure equipment and technology. They recently has acquired FieldWise, LLC, which makes agricultural technology products with a "focus on subscription-based, precision irrigation solutions."
FieldWise is headquartered in Norfolk and started in 2008. They help agricultural producers and service providers with "innovative solutions." These solutions enable the remote monitoring and control of assets around their farm or ranch. FieldWise wants to help growers improve the productivity, efficiency and profitability of their operations.
The acquisition is meant to help Lindsay serve a broader customer base through an expanded distribution network.
