NORTHEAST NEBRASKA — Another round of severe weather could hit the northeast part of Nebraska as many counties are in a tornado watch.

According to the National Weather Service, the tornado watch is in effect until 10 p.m. tonight.

Storms are expected to develop around 4 p.m. this evening and is expected to move out of the region by 10 p.m.

The primary hazard will be strong damaging winds and large hail.

NWS said the highest tornado risk is north of I-80.

Counties in northeast Nebraska put in the tornado watch include Antelope, Burt, Cedar, Colfax, Cuming, Dakota, Dixon, Dodge, Knox, Madison, Pierce, Platte, Stanton, Thurston, Washington, and Wayne.
