Flood Communications walks away with 11 broadcasting awards

Flood Communication television and radio stations totaled 11 awards during the Nebraska Broadcasters Association awards.

NEBRASKA -- Wednesday was the Nebraska Broadcasters Association awards, and walking away with plenty of hardware last night was Flood Communications.

The company saw 11 awards given to multiple television and radio stations under the Flood Communication banner. 

Two radio stations received "GOLD" awards, KBBX (Lobo 97.7) won "Station Originated Community Service Project", and KSID (98.7 The Big Boy) for "Best Promotional Announcement." Winning silver accolades was KNEN (94Rock) for "Sports Play by Play" and KUTT (Ol' Red 99.5) for "Best Commerical." KUTT also received a bronze award for "Sports Play by Play."

For silver television awards, KWBE TV won "Spot News Reporting" and KNEN TV won "Best In-Depth/Investigative Story." Bronze awards were given to KOHA TV for "Best-Continuing Coverage", "Best Newscast" and "Best Weathercast." KMLF TV also walked away with an award for "Best on the Scene Sports."
