NORFOLK, Neb. -- The Scott Schram Band will be going back to where it all began and performing their 200th show.

The performance will be Dec. 30 at Eldorado Hills Clubhouse from 8 p.m. to midnight.

Twenty-four years ago Scott Schram and several buddies got together at Eldorado Hills for a Christmas jam session in Norfolk that ended up turning into a family tradition every holiday season, according to a press release.

The show on Dec. 30 will mark the band's 200th show.

The band consists of Scott's twin sister, Sarah Peterson, Sarah's husband Thor, and Scott's father Steve.

Sarah is on the drums, guitar and vocals. Thor is on bass and bagpipes. Steve is on guitar and keyboard.

The Scott Schram Band covers all genres of music including covers and original material written by Scott Schram.

The press release said that being a family band has been key to the Schrams' dedication. Since the beginning, Scott set a goal of playing 12-15 times a year no matter where he is and has been able to attain that despite having four members living in three states.

The return of this holiday tradition at the Eldorado Hills Clubhouse is extra special for the community after the many dedicated efforts by countless volunteers to restore the Eldorado Hills Golf Club this year.
