NORFOLK, Neb. -- A Kearney man was arrested near Norfolk for a DWI after he was reportedly driving erratically.

The Stanton County Sheriff's Office said they received information that a black BMW was driving erratically on Highway 35, right outside of Norfolk, around 9:15 p.m. on Tuesday.

Officers said they stopped the vehicle in Woodland Park. The driver was reportedly intoxicated and arrested for DWI after he failed the roadside sobriety tests.

According to authorities, the driver was 26-year-old Martin Santiago Jr., of Kearney, and he reportedly failed a breath sample at SCSO.

Officials stated that Santiago Jr. was also wanted for a Nebraska Department of Corrections arrest warrant with no bond for parole violations. He was jailed for the warrant and is waiting for transfer.
