Lindsay Dixon resigns from NPS Board of Education

Board member Lindsay Dixon has submitted her resignation from the NPS Board of Education.

NORFOLK, Neb. -- A board member for Norfolk Public School's school board resigned from their position.

In a press release from Norfolk Public Schools, the district announced Lindsay Dixon had been notified of her resignation.

A reason why was not given in the press release.

Dixon served on the board for over a year after she was elected to a four-year term in 2022, and has been serving on the board since January 2023.

Her resignation will be an agenda item during the April 22, Board of Education meeting, where the board will discuss plans for appointing a replacement. 

The press release said NPS "Would like to extend our gratitude to Lindsay for her service to our students and staff."
