NEBRASKA -- The National Weather Service has reported there will be severe weather this evening.

NWS says there will be strong, fast-moving storms with wind gusts as strong as 80+ mph and damaging hail.

Wind and hail are the main concerns, but isolated flooding and tornadoes are possible.

As of 8:50 a.m., NWS says that the confidence in a damaging wind threat grows.

Much of the area is considered to have an enhanced risk of severe weather tonight.

NWS suggests making plans for seeking shelter quickly.
