MADISON, Neb. -- A country musician is taking a break from the road, and affecting a Nebraska county fair in the process.
Country musician Ernest announced on social media Tuesday that he's shutting about a month's worth of live dates to spend more time with family.
One of those planned stops was the Madison County Fair this Sunday.
Fair officials said anyone who purchased tickets for the show will be refunded their money.
In the meantime, organizers for the northeast Nebraska fair said they've book national country artists Matt Stell and John Morgan for a free concert at the fairgrounds this Sunday instead.
