Mimosa Fest launching weekend festivities
NORFOLK, Neb. -- The popular Mimosa Fest is set to return to Downtown Norfolk this Saturday, from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Now in its fourth year, the event will feature live music, food vendors, and, of course, plenty of mimosas.
"We invite a lot of people to come on down and enjoy the afternoon, the morning, the evening because it's filled with live music all day long," said Caelan Debban, event organizer. "So 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. there is always some kind of live music going on. There's mimosas, there's beer, there's food trucks it's almost like a giant block party in downtown Norfolk."
The festivities will take place between Second and Third Streets. Attendees can enjoy two stages of live music throughout the day while sampling a variety of mimosas, including bottomless options for VIP ticket holders. Food vendors will also be on hand to satisfy hungry festival-goers.
Jessica Walker, the event organizer, expressed excitement about the upcoming festival.
"It's a lot of fun to see everyone having a good time just enjoying the live music," said Jessica Walker, event organizer. "It's just brings everyone together, everybody is in a great mood, everybody is laughing, having fun, it's always a great day."
